More options to vary licenses / permits
in progress

I'd like to see more options when it comes to Licenses / Permits:
- Option to switch status of your driver's license (valid, suspended, expired/lapsed, revoked, restricted, probationary)
- Option to switch status of your firearm license (valid, suspended, expired, revoked, restricted, probationary)
- Boating License (valid, suspended, expired/lapsed, revoked, restricted, probationary)
- Fishing/Hunting License (valid, suspended, expired/lapsed, revoked, restricted, probationary)
- Aviation License (valid, suspended, expired/lapsed, revoked)
- different types of Driver's / Operating Licenses:
- Driver's license class A, class B, class C
- Motorcycle License
- Commercial Driver's License
- Provisional or Learner's Permit
- Restricted or occupational license (only allows driving for your essential purposes like work or medical appointments)
- Chauffeur License (for private chauffeur jobs, taxi / shuttle services)
Thank you for you work!

This is actually the entire purpose of Case Management. Walk with me through the flow:
Officer opens up a new call - say Traffic Stop in CAD.
When the officer is complete, they click Close Call. This is where you would generally do this at the Police Station - because you need to select all the characters and charges that were associated. Maybe you had 5 characters involved, but only 1 of them got charged. You still add any and all associated charges to any of the characters here. This allows you to get back on duty and continue your shift.
NOW... when you are done with your shift, any CLOSE CALL you ran that associated in any Charges - well that opened up a case file. For all officers that were involved, and against all Characters. So over here is where you would be able to do:
Option to switch status of your driver's license (valid, suspended, expired/lapsed, revoked, restricted, probationary)
Option to switch status of your firearm license (valid, suspended, expired, revoked, restricted, probationary)
Boating License (valid, suspended, expired/lapsed, revoked, restricted, probationary)
Fishing/Hunting License (valid, suspended, expired/lapsed, rev
All of that is actually built! So the point of Case Management is really to be done towards the end of your Law Enforcement Shift. You head over to Case Management, you and your fellow officers that were part of this call can attach evidence, link additional cases together if necessary - or add and remove officers from the case as needed. And that will include all the above - changing drivers license status firearms, boating, fishing etc. And it will be a SET TIME. So if you suspend it say for 3 days - it is for 3 FULL DAYS. Any officer who runs them for the next 3 days, that license or WANTED LEVEL for example will show up depending on what was selected over at the CASE.
NOW LAST THING :) Cause I get excited on these features, Wanted Levels. Say you were on that traffic stop - turned into a 10-80, dude ran from you, well you would still eventually close the Call if he got away right, and you would associate any "potential" charges you might of charged him with or WILL once he's caught. So think about it, CASE will REMAIN OPEN. If a case is open, you can set wanted levels. It will have criteria, so you can't just set a new dude to Wanted Level 5. On Wanted Level 5, we plan to show like a 2 mile radius RED circle around an area the second a Wanted Level 5 player connects to the server. That way, I expect all LEO to be patrolling the you know what out of that area until that character is ultimately caught, where you would then close the Case. and arrest goes on record, you could still suspend things for X amount of time but the wanted level would reset right, cause dude got caught.
This is ALL why the Case Management video I completed the other day is 15 MINUTES LONG :). We plan to drop the majority of these features on Friday. The problem my dude is officers right now are not even doing NEW CALL for traffic stops. Or for anything, they just need to get in the habit of it. As this improves, of course that will drive case adoption up and we'll get better!
But hoping this explains the logic a little bit better on what we have planned. Had to roll it out in waves to make sure everything stays stable.
Now this piece I didn't think of:
different types of Driver's / Operating Licenses:
Driver's license class A, class B, class C
Motorcycle License
Commercial Driver's License
Provisional or Learner's Permit
Restricted or occupational license (only allows driving for your essential purposes like work or medical appointments)
Chauffeur License (for private chauffeur jobs, taxi / shuttle services)
Love that idea! We'll work to implement something like that in Case Management soon - you can definitely Revoke, Suspend etc but we didn't consider additional license types yet. Thanks again all for your feedback!

Stone: Thank you for this in-depth response and explanation! Now I'm even more excited for Case Management to be released. The Wanted Level feature sounds really awesome as well, looking forward to seeing it in action soon.
Glad to be a help with my feedback and being able to bring in new ideas to make this great CAD even greater. Thanks again for all of your work, it's really appreciated!

I like this idea, I would think this will be coming in an upcoming CAD update as it is a vital portion of RP.
